William A. Worthington has been a licensed attorney since 1976. His practice has consisted entirely of civil trial and appellate court litigation. Although several of his early trials were tort cases involving simple soft tissue injuries, the majority of his tort and product liability actions involved catastrophic injuries and/or death with products ranging from vehicles and heavy equipment to medical devices. His commercial litigation/appeals have largely focused on corporate control, shareholder rights, insurance broking and coverage, contracts and sales law, and multi-district/multi-forum campaign litigations involving medical devices and healthcare products. He has also served as an arbitrator on legal malpractice matters.
