Katherine Seiler

Katherine Seiler joined Taylor, Book, Allen & Morris, L.L.P. in 2017 as an associate. She is a cum laude graduate of Texas A&M University, where she majored in Political Science and minored in History. During her undergraduate studies, she clerked for Wilson, a Schlumberger Company in their legal department.


Katherine received her law degree from the University of Houston Law Center. Throughout her law school tenure, she worked during her first year as a full-time corporate safety buyer for National Oilwell Varco, clerked for two years at the 295th Harris County Civil District Court with the Honorable Caroline E. Baker, as well as completed judicial externships with Chief Justice Sherry Radack of the Texas First Court of Appeals, the Honorable Rebeca Huddle of the Texas First Court of Appeals, and The Honorable Jennifer Walker Elrod of the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. During her time at the Fifth Circuit, she worked both from Houston and at the John Minor Wisdom U.S. Court of Appeals Building in New Orleans, Louisiana.


Her judicial experience in both state and federal courts encompassed drafting opinions in both civil and criminal cases, drafting court orders, drafting legal memorandum, making recommendations on various motions, and assisting the state district court through over 75 jury trials.
